Upcoming IP4OS webinar explores Creative Commons Public License

IP4OS will host a webinar on 15 January at 1:00 PM, featuring Fabian Rack, a leading expert in copyright and Creative Commons licensing.

The session will present the specialist book on the Creative Commons Public License (CCPL), published in 2025. Structured as a clause-by-clause commentary, the book also includes a comprehensive handbook section covering legal enforcement, academia, cultural heritage, and the impact of artificial intelligence. Fabian Rack, one of the editors and co–editor-in-chief, will guide attendees through the book’s insights and discuss recent developments related to Creative Commons and AI.

Fabian Rack is an attorney at iRights.Law in Berlin and a staff member at FIZ Karlsruhe – Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure. He advises on copyright law, Creative Commons licenses, and data protection. Rack also brings extensive journalistic experience, having contributed to Telemedicus, LTO, and iRights.info. Beyond his legal expertise, he holds a Master of Arts in Songwriting & Music Production from Chichester and is active as a musician under the name INOTI.
