IP & OS Masterclass: Open Science as IP Strategy
Open science (OS) aims at accelerating research and innovation through the strategic use of intellectual property (IP). As there exists no one approach to OS, there is no one IP strategy that fits them all. Rather, the goal of those managing OS projects is to mix and match the various forms of formal and informal IP mechanisms to achieve the goals of each project. Projects range from individual labs advancing a scientific project to large collaborations involving public and private actors. This webinar will describe how to build an IP strategy to match project goals.
